Protestors Bring Guns to President’s Townhall

Let me ask one question: If a man were carrying an assault rifle right outside your house, would you call the police?

Absolutely.

Even if he was ‘just exercising his 2nd Amendment rights’ and posed zero threat to anybody…

You just don’t walk around carrying assault rifles:

About a dozen people carrying guns, including one with a military-style rifle, milled among protesters outside the convention center where President Barack Obama was giving a speech Monday — the latest incident in which protesters have openly displayed firearms near the president.

Gun-rights advocates say they’re exercising their constitutional right to bear arms and protest, while those who argue for more gun control say it could be a disaster waiting to happen.

I am disappointed I have to side with our liberal-biased media friends on this one.  We have the right to bear arms – don’t flaunt it and don’t act childish and abuse that right!

Now, granted, the article mentions that there were roughly 12 people or so carrying the weapons; 12 people out of say 100,000,000 Americans opposed to Obama is a very, very small percentage (.000012%, to be exact) and, the story acts like every Conservative person out there is as crazy as these people – and that is simply not the case.

Even so, our voices are more effective at sounding out our opposition.  Let’s stick to that famous hill-billy proverb and keep silly things like this out of the news:

“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!”

Our voices are being heard – just keep shouting 🙂
